Vintage Loza Electrica Hagen Renaker Large Bay Arabian Stallion

Here is a porcelain Arabian Stallion from Loza Electrica, Hagen Renaker’s sister company that was in Mexico. 

The company was owned by Eric Renaker, nephew of Hagen Renaker’s current President Susan Rena Nikas.  It was in operation from 1992 to 1998.

The horse is a large porcelain Bay Arabian Stallion, #061.

He stands 5.75″H x 6″L … In the Breyer world he is slightly larger than a Paddock Pal, but smaller than a Classic.

Some of these molds were on a base, and some were not on a base.  This one has no base, but it does have “hoof pads” that appear to be made of glue.

He is dark bay w/ black points & a blaze.

The finish on this horse is a high gloss. So much so, that I could not eliminate all of the glare even when shooting w/ a filter.

The high gloss also affects his bay color, and shows it w/ a red hue, but he is NOT a red bay, although he is darker than he appears in pic 3.

His blaze is the only white that is on him … Any other areas of white are reflections that I was unable to eliminate.

That being said, it does not detract from his appearance … a beautiful glossy bay Arabian Stallion porcelain.

He is in NM condition … Some people might say that he is Mint, but I just do not use that level for a used item.
